Happy New Month of May!

Mine has started with some interesting projects and upcoming additional new menus for my bakery business – #TastieBakes and if you follow me on Instagram via insta-stories you’d understand what am talking about. Am super excited and of course having an open mind about almost – “ALMOST” everything in terms of working with brands and food in general. I can’t for you guys to be part of this journey.

However, for now let me introduce you to a healthy blueberry muffin smoothie. I know you guys have been asking me via instagram  and Facebook to where I get my fresh blueberries. Well, I have a supplier called Mr. Lamec –  + 254 707 833220 and yes, he does deliveries anywhere and everywhere.

Making ” Blueberry Muffin Smoothie”

Prep time: 5 mins  Total time: 5 mins

Serves: 2 pax

 

 

MAIN INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of old fashion rolled oats
  • 1 cup of frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup of whole milk
  • 4 Tablespoons of natural plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon of honey

Important tools:

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups/spoons
  • mason jar/s OR glass
  • straw -Optional

Instructions:

Place all the liquids at the blade of your blender, then add in all the other dry ingredients. Blend everything for 1 mins or until smooth.

Serve it in a mason jar or tall glass and enjoy.
