No better way to start your day than with a peanut butter banana smoothie. It packs a healthy dose of proteins and my mantra is, if you can’t eat it, drink it!! Its ultra thick in consistency, flavorful and yet tastes like milkshake. I didn’t see the need of adding any sweetener, but with ripe bananas and apples in it you are good to go.
Making ” Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie“
Prep time: 5 mins Total time: 5 mins
Serves: 2 pax
- 2 Frozen bananas – Sliced
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla Extract
- 1 -1/2 Tablespoons of crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 an apple – peeled and diced
- Cute Paper straws
- Glass or mason jar
- Salted toasted peanuts
- sliced bananas
Place all the liquid near the blade + add in any of the solids after. Cover and blend everything to your preference. I love my smoothies, not fully smooth, but with bits of the chewiness.
Drink immediately, or store in a covered glass container in the refrigerator if you’d prefer to make the smoothie the night before.
