“Packed are ready for the office peeps.”
With all the desserts I have made so far, this is my favorite. I thought oreo truffles was far most the best dessert, but this oatmeal cookies are colorful, with fireworks and super delish. If you have been reading my articles, I keep mentioning how am so not a fan of sweet foods, well I guess now I will take that back. Hell yeah!! I have changed my mind.
No bake cookies are just too easy and quick to make. The chewy, buttery oats and sweet m&m cookies all packed into one perfectly soft cookie makes me weak at the knees.
How to make ” Peanut butter oatmeal m&m cookies“.
Prep time: 10 mins cook time: 10 mins
Total time: 20 mins
Yields = 14 pieces.
*Main Ingredients*
– 2 packets of m&m
– 1 pack of smarties {can use chocolate chips}
– 1 cup of peanut butter
-4 Tablespoons of sugar
– 4 Tablespoons of Honey
-1 tsp of vanilla extract
– 1 cup of oatmeal
*Method*
1. The honey has to be in liquid form to work well. {Mine was melting}. Start with the oats, peanut, honey and vanilla- all together in a bowl. Combine all of them together. Once combined, add in the m&ms and mix using your hands. {If find it easier.}
2. Roll them into two tea spoon balls. Place them on either a baking sheet or plate. To make them firmer, refrigerate for 10 mins, then serve. {Be playful while making their shapes}.
After 10 mins of chilling”, I used the smarties and chocolate syrup to add some Ummph!! and pop of color with flavor.
With a glass of milk {the Kalenjin in me} this dessert is the “Bees Knees”.
Slurrp!!
