After my first sauce dish that I posted here {If you missed out} in April, this has got to be something I’ve come to enjoy preparing. With the right ingredients, and the quality of ingredients used, the taste and the texture is what that matters.

The sauce that I made yesterday for dinner, was slightly different since I did not use any wine and less tomatoes, but the outcome was just magnificently tasty.

I am currently hosting my long time friend and currently my ride or die girl- Laura. Talk about stuffing her when it comes to the food. She is amazed by the things I do in the kitchen. One more week girl to feed and stuff you with exploding ingredients and different tastes.

Dinner Last night.

Spaghetti Sauce Dish

How to make: “Spaghetti sauce with sliced sausages“.

*Main Ingredients*

main ingredients

-8 ready to eat sausages -sliced

-1/2 a packet of spaghetti -cooked

-1 cup of canned mashed tomatoes

– 1 chopped tomato

– 3 grated garlic cloves

– 2 chopped onions

-2 tablespoons of sugar

-1/4 tsp of red ground chili

1/4 tsp of chili flakes

1/4 tsp of black pepper

-1 tsp of salt

-1 cup of water

-2 tsp of vegetable cooking oil


  1. Using a pot, medium heat it, add in oil and onions. Fry them until golden brown and soft. Add in the grated garlic and stir for 2 mins.


2. Add in the diced tomatoes first, and stir well.



3. Pour in the canned mashed tomatoes to the pot and stir the let it simmer for for 8 mins.

4. Add in the chili peppers, salt, black pepper and cup of water to the above mix and stir continuously. Let it simmer for another 10 mins, while covered.


5. Add in the sliced sausages after the simmering of the sauce, let it simmer for 5 mins to make the sausages more softer and acquire all the mixed flavors.


6. When the sauce is ready, pour it out to the  spaghetti bowl and mix.


7. I threw in yesterday’s left over of steamed french beans, just to add more color to the plating.
